Returns asynchronous state of a keyboard key.

Device: keyboard - 2

AY [in,4i]

Key - it can be:

• ASCII character code (only for A...Z or 0...9)
• any key code, especially:
  • 16 - any Shift
  • 17 - any Ctrl
  • 18 - any Alt
  • 160 - left Shift
  • 161 - right Shift
  • 162 - left Ctrl
  • 163 - right Ctrl
  • 164 - left Alt
  • 165 - right Alt

Whether the key is down

Description

This message allows to check the state of a particular keyboard key. Returned state comes from the time when this message is called. That's why this message is good to check the key state in every frame in real-time programs.
