Returned values

NoASM Compiler application returns an integer value dependent on the result of the compilation process. It can be:

0
Compilation succeeded
-1
Compilation failed
-2
Invalid command line parameters

In the future versions 0 and positive numbers will also mean success and negative values will mean failure.

Example

You can create Windows bath file to speed up the compilation and run process:

D:\MyFolder\NoSense\NoASM\noasm.exe %1 %2
if errorlevel 0 D:\MyFolder\NoSense\NoSense.exe -disk 0 %2 -noask

File presented above does the compilation of given source file into given destination file. If the compilation succeedes, runs the virtual machine. Inserts compiled disk into its first slot and makes it not to as on exit. Example of usage:

Build.bat D:\MyFolder\MyProgram.nasm D:\MyFolder\MyProgram.disk
